Tank Cleaning Technician

USA DeBusk is a best-in-class mechanical and industrial cleaning services provider specializing in servicing the downstream energy market. We offer the full suite of maintenance and turnaround services including hydro blasting, hydro cutting, hydro excavation, chemical cleaning, PEPTM polymer extraction service, vacuum services, tank cleaning, degassing/vapor control, FCC catalyst handling and transportation, and specialty turnaround services. Responsibilities:

• Operate and set-up all necessary cleaning equipment such as low-pressure, high volume pumps and circulators in accordance with operational, training, guidelines, and safety procedures.
• Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear.
• Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heaving industrial settings.
• Install, fit, repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment.
• Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, chemical circulators, and general work area prior to starting any job. Informs supervisor of deficiencies, which may cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity.
• Clean different type of petro chemical tanks ( crude, diesel, gas etc.)
• Proficient in 3 or 2 phase centrifuges ( Jenkins, Centrisys )
• Familiar with tank cleaning equipment ( man way cannons, 18 inch circulation systems, centrifugal pumps and pneumatic pumps.

Requirements:

• Must be able to travel for extended periods of time
• Valid driver's license or identification card
• Respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week if called upon.
• Ability to work for extended periods of time within a confined space, in extreme temperature environments and at high elevation.
• Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures
• Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.
• Ability to lift, move and handle up to 50lbs
• Successfully complete drug screen, pre-employment physical and all required background checks
• Valid TWIC Card
• RSO Card
• Clean background

Experience Required:

• General labor experience is a plus.
• Experience in chemical cleaning chemistry is a plus

Pay Range: $23 - $25 per hour
