Job Description

  Valnet's entertainment brands are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Coordinator to support the growth and management of our social media presence, with an emphasis on Facebook. 

The ideal candidate is passionate about digital content, understands platform trends, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role involves content curation, visual asset creation, scheduling, community engagement, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and manage daily content across multiple social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Twitter, BlueSky, TikTok).
  • Post memes, graphics, videos, and article links according to an established content calendar.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager, Social Coordinators, and editorial team to streamline content posting and adapt quickly to news updates.
  • Write engaging captions and copy to drive user interaction, leveraging brand voice and style.
  • Learn and utilize the TrueAnthem scheduling tool and Media Library system, efficiently tagging, sorting, and organizing content.
  • Provide flexible availability, adjusting work hours as needed for special events such as Comic-Con, award shows, or major entertainment news cycles.
  • Basic graphic design and video skills using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, or similar tools.
  • Bonus Skills: Familiarity with scheduling or analytics platforms (e.g., TrueAnthem, Buffer, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with and enthusiasm for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Twitter, BlueSky, YouTube).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the brand’s quality standards.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and systems, including TrueAnthem and potential schedule adjustments as algorithms change.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced remote environment.
