Senior Family Law Attorney (On-site)

WHITMAN Legal Resources is partnering with a well-established boutique family law firm in White Plains, NY, seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney / Managing Attorney to lead complex matters and support the firm’s continued growth.

This is a high-impact, leadership-focused role ideal for an experienced family law attorney who thrives in litigation, mentorship, and client-facing work within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-conflict, and high-net-worth divorce and family law cases from intake through resolution
• Handle trials, hearings, negotiations, and court appearances
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff
• Maintain high standards of legal practice, efficiency, and internal collaboration
• Conduct client consultations and support business development initiatives
• Contribute to the development of firm systems, policies, and best practices

Qualifications

• NY Bar admission required
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in divorce and family law
• Prior trial experience required
• Demonstrated ability to supervise attorneys or manage legal teams
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to guide clients through sensitive matters
• Comfortable with modern legal technology and case management systems

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $215,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
• Performance-based bonus
