Responsibilities:

\t
• Oversee and manage the Employee Health Program, including initial health assessments, employee immunization, and workers' compensation follow-up.
\t
• Conduct health screenings, immunizations, and assessments for new and existing employees.
\t
• Maintain accurate employee health records, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
\t
• Track, collect, and analyze employee health data for program evaluation and reporting.
\t
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and department heads to ensure compliance with OSHA, TJC, and infection control standards.
\t
• Provide education and guidance to employees regarding workplace health and safety.
\t
• Coordinate care and follow-up for occupational injuries or exposures.
\t
• Serve as a liaison between staff, providers, and administration for employee health concerns.
\t
• Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities related to employee health.
\t
• Utilize Microsoft Office and hospital software for documentation, communication, and reporting.

Qualifications:

\t
• Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN) approved nursing program; BSN preferred (LPN minimum).
\t
• Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience, preferably in an adult care setting.
\t
• Experience in occupational or employee health preferred.
\t
• Knowledge of OSHA, TJC, and employee health regulations and standards.
\t
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office applications.
\t
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

Licenses and Certifications:

\t
• Current and active LPN or RN license in the State of Alaska or eligible under Client/Commissioned Corps system.
\t
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within one year of hire.
\t
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Employee/Occupational Health certification preferred.
\t
• Additional preferred certifications: PALS, NRP, or related nursing competencies.
