We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) Educator to work in the Family Birthplace Unit. This job will focus on teaching staff about operating room procedures for C-sections (Cesarean sections). The candidate must have strong experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D) or as a Circulating Nurse for C-sections.
**Important Note:** Nurses who only work in Labor & Delivery will not be considered for this position.
**Qualifications Needed:**
- At least 3 years of current experience as an RN Educator in the Perinatal field (related to pregnancy and childbirth) - THIS IS REQUIRED
- Experience teaching about Circulating roles in the operating room for C-sections
- **Note:** Nurses who only work in Labor & Delivery will not be considered
- Experience with Meditech Expanse (a health software) is preferred
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a higher degree is REQUIRED
- Must have ACLS and BLS certifications
- Permenant address must be included with your application
- You need to have your own vehicle for this job
**Certification Requirements:**
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from AHA (American Heart Association)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA
**State License Requirements:**
- Must have a valid nursing license in Massachusetts.
