As the Maintenance Scheduler & Contractor Supervisor you will contribute to ensuring efficient execution of maintenance activities by managing multi-week rolling schedules. You will work with the Operations and Maintenance Gatekeeper to align your partners and external contractors for both planned and unplanned work. You will ensure that all necessary materials, parts, and personnel are available to minimize delays and maximize operational reliability. Reporting directly to the Operations and Maintenance Gatekeeper working on-site at our plant in Delaware, Ohio you will manage onsite contractors for preventive maintenance (PMs) and project work.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Operations and Maintenance Gatekeeper to develop weekly and daily maintenance schedules.
Coordinate internal maintenance resources and external contractors to complete scheduled work.
Ensure availability of parts, materials, and services to support maintenance activities.
Manage onsite contractors for preventive maintenance (PMs) and project work.
Develop a prioritized, executable backlog of maintenance tasks.
Facilitate maintenance scheduling meetings and distribute finalized schedules to relevant teams.
Forecast multi-week maintenance activities, including special services and equipment needs.
Adjust schedules based on resource constraints and feedback from operations and maintenance teams.
Seek continuous improvement through feedback and collaboration with teams.
Qualifications
High School diploma required, college degree.
Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., eMaint) for scheduling and planning.
Knowledge of asset reliability and maintenance processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
Must have indefinite right to work in the United States.
