Job Title: Live-in Private Pay Caregiver

Location: Downingtown, PA

Schedule: Sunday-Sunday/ 8 AM - 8 AM

Salary: $220.00 per day

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and professional caregiver to care for a 69-year-old Male. This is a private pay position requiring attention to detail and a compassionate approach to care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Companion and Homemaking Services:

• Must have the ability to provide companionship
• Must assist with meal preparation and clean up
• Must assist with Light housekeeping
• Must assist with Grocery shopping and general shopping
• Must assist with Errand services
• Must be able to provide medication reminders
• Must assist with medical appointments
• Respite care at a minimum of two weeks
• Must Provide safety monitoring and supervision
• Help with clothing selection and clothes shopping
• Be able to Assist with Transportation
• Recreational activities and crafts
• Escort on social outings
• Must Retrieve mail

Personal Care Services :

• assist with bathing
• assist with grooming
• assist with toileting
• Provide incontinence care
• must be able to lift 300lbs and/or use a Hoyer lift
• assist/supervise a patient with walking, transferring, and positioning

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of Caregiving experience
• Must have a CNA/HHA/PCT certificate
• Must be able to provide proof of residency
• Score an 80% or higher on Caregiver Competency Exam
• Knowledge of CPAP and catheter maintenance is preferred.
• Must report to work on time/have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a PA/FBI background check
• Strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order.
• Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work consecutive or non-consecutive nights as needed.
