A highly regarded law firm in the Calabasas, CA area is seeking an Attorney with at some type of experience in family law experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law litigation and be prepared to handle a diverse caseload. While candidates with direct family law attorney experience will be given priority, the team is also open to training someone with other relevant exposure to family law that is a newer lawyer. This role offers a competitive compensation structure commission, along with excellent benefits and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and equitable distribution.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, from case initiation through trial, including discovery, motions, mediation, and court appearances.
• Provide legal counsel and advocacy tailored to each client’s needs and objectives.
• Maintain clear communication and a strong attorney-client relationship.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, agreements, and court filings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Attorney in California, in good standing.
• Some experience with family law is required to be considered.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and client advocacy skills.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work both independently and as part of a team.
