Overview Of The Company Fox TV Stations
FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.
Job Description Do you love being in the know? We're looking for a person who is willing to dig beyond the headlines to inform audiences through written and video content. Digital Content Creators create compelling content that is driven by the user experience, including text stories, photos/graphics, live streaming content and social media. DCCs reach millions of FOX 4 followers on FOX LOCAL, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. Work with FOX TV Stations Group Content team to distribute high-interest stories to FOX-owned stations. Monitoring and acting upon real-time analytics, Google Trends and trending topics is a must. Other duties as deemed necessary and assigned.
3+ years experience developing and publishing content, including news, on digital and social platforms preferred. BA/BS degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications or related field with emphasis on digital publishing. Excellent writer and storyteller. Superior news judgement. Impeccable writing and copy editing skills. Overwhelming attention to detail. Thrive under deadline pressure. Stellar communication skills. Social media expert. Proficient in content management systems, video publishing, live streaming, and digital analytics tools. Video and photo editing experience (Adobe products a plus).

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $58,675.00-59,500.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
