Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and implement database management systems to provide orderly data storage and controlled access.
• Lead the design and development of the organization's database environment.
• Install database management system applications and establish linkages to existing database applications and other data processing systems.
• Develop backup and recovery schemes, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.

Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience: Minimum 7 years in development, implementation, and maintenance of database management systems across multiple platforms; prior management or supervisory experience, including project management.

• Middle‑level management in database administration.
• Works under general direction of senior‑level management.
• Manages and mentors supervisors, project leaders, and technical staff.
• Reports to senior executives such as CTO, COO, or IT directors.
