Responsibilities

Design, maintain, and implement database management systems to provide orderly data storage and controlled access.
Lead the design and development of the organization's database environment.
Install database management system applications and establish linkages to existing database applications and other data processing systems.
Develop backup and recovery schemes, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.

Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience: Minimum 7 years in development, implementation, and maintenance of database management systems across multiple platforms; prior management or supervisory experience, including project management.

Middle‑level management in database administration.
Works under general direction of senior‑level management.
Manages and mentors supervisors, project leaders, and technical staff.
Reports to senior executives such as CTO, COO, or IT directors.
