Job Description

Job Brief:
As a Data Analyst I is responsible for the implementation of processes and daily duties which ensure the control and mitigation of risk to operational functions based on experience and specific duty delegation in accordance with applicable regulatory compliance requirements.

• Assist with items processing including proof work, Fed adjustments, fraudulent items as applicable
• Communicate with vendors and make recommendations on hardware/software pertinent to current project
• Assist branch associates in project/problem resolution
• Ensure daily duties such as ACH, wires, OLB, card management, return mail, system maintenance, etc. are completed as assigned
• Monitor daily system reports for erroneous, fraudulent and/or suspicious activity
• Ensure all account documentation is accurate and compliant
• Research application exceptions to ensure correct disposition of items
• Ensure that all problems and issues are communicated to management
• Act as a brand ambassador, representing the Bank in the community and making appropriate referrals regarding new business
• Other duties may be assigned as necessary

Skills Required:

• Associates degree in business and/or at least some experience in banking industry applications or the education and/or experience that would enable performance of the full scope of the position; hardware and software experience lending an understanding in setting parameters in software to act as team leader in development phase.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and measurement units.
